Since 1981

Haj Financial had its humble beginning as an Insurance Broker for a reputable insurance agency in 1981.  After about 1 ½ years, the founder of Haj Financial, Adnan Elhaj, went to work as a captive agent for a large Insurance Company.  During that time, he received extensive training in Insurance sales.  After much success as a captive agent, Haj Financial opened its office at 1842 W. 47th Street in Chicago, IL.  For the past 25 years Haj Financial has expanded its office services to include all types of Insurance, Tax Preparation, Accounting, and Real Estate services at the same location on the south side of Chicago. Throughout all these years our greatest achievement has been maintaining relationships with many of our clients that have lasted for more than 20 years and continue to strengthen and flourish.

While Haj Financial has provided accounting and tax preparation for over 25 years it had mostly been through a manual process. However, since 2004 Haj Financial has completely computerized its accounting services and tax preparation.  This has allowed us to utilize the latest accounting and tax preparation software available in the market.  Additionally, Adnan Elhaj is licensed with Guidance Realty Home as a real estate broker.  He has been a member of the area Multiple Listing Services (MLS) since 1991 and now more than ever has utilized its computerized services to the advantage of our clients.

Currently, Haj Financial is staffed by highly educated individuals.  Our staff member’s possesses a doctoral degree in business adminstation, a master degrees in accounting and management information systems, as well as a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management. 

Additionally, our real estate department is headed by Adnan Elhaj who possesses a master’s degree in civil engineering, which is extremely helpful when assessing different aspects of properties because of his vast experience with building construction.
